ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES
The Environmental Services Department provides a safe and clean hospital environment, helping to provide quality patient care. In addition to cleaning the hospital and all departments, Environmental Services is responsible for trash collection including bio-hazards; distribution of clean and removal of dirty laundry; clean-up of blood spills; pest control; and special care cleaning. In 2007-08, 318,195 pounds of clean linen was delivered.
Everyone associated with the Environmental Services Department works very hard to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We promise that the person who cleans your room will always be respectful and do their best to be as thorough as possible.
